Complete Damage Protection cover your device against damages by all accidental drop, crash, breakage or liquid for a period of one year.

Customer can purchase the Extended warranty plan within time duration of 9 months or 270 days from the date of purchase of device
Customer can avail only one service against their Screen Damage Protection (SDP) plan.
The damage protection plan has a cooling off period of 7 days. Hence, a customer cannot raise a claim for damages that occurred during first 7 days of plan purchase.
Yes, customer can avail multiple plans for the same device as per his/her requirements. (e.g. Screen damage protection with Extended Warranty)
Customer can raise unlimited claims against their extended warranty plan.
The extended warranty will start post completion of manufacturer’s warranty.
Complete Damage Protection (CDP) Plan covers accidental physical and liquid damages to your device, that are not covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty.
For Complete Damage Protection (CDP) Plan, the below scenarios are not covered:
1. Cosmetic damages – dent or outer body damage or stripping of colour
2. Software issues, malware, damages to the accessories
3. Any damage covered under the manufacturer’s warranty
4. Loss or damage to the Gadget due to mysterious circumstances / mysterious disappearance or unexplained reasons
5. Proven fraud or criminal activity in relation to this plan on the part of the Beneficiary
6. Consequential loss of any kind or description in relation to any Cover
7. Any type of self-repair or attempted self-repair of the Insured Gadget by the Beneficiary
8. Devices that have undergone unauthorized repair and contain non-genuine parts.
If the occurred damage is covered under Complete Damage Protection (CDP) Plan, you only pay the amount of processing fee indicated in the plan confirmation. You will be notified of any other charges for parts that are not covered under the plan before accepting the repair request.
If the damage is covered under Extended Warranty Plan, you don’t have to pay any additional amount on the repair (subject to fulfilment of mandatory conditions).
If the repair cost of the Registered Device is more than the Benefits Value of the Registered Device, then the repair request will be determined as Beyond Economic Repairs (BER). In case of BER, the applicable eligible amount will be refunded or adjusted on the new vivo device purchase amount by Garantie to the customer.
The damage protection plan has a cooling off period of 7 days. and is covered till Twelve months (365 Days) from date of purchase of the Plan.
The following conditions have not been included in the coverage of SDP plan repair:
1. Damages caused by liquid ingress
2. If parts other than the screen are damaged
3. If the damage is suffered as a result of use of the phone other than for its ordinary and generally accepted purpose or is deliberately damaged.
No, none of these plans can be purchased for refurbished phone.
No, these plans are only available for phones purchased in India.
Your plan confirmation mail is the only proof that you require to avail services from the service center.
For SDP- the plan can be cancelled within 7 calendar days after purchasing it.
For CDP- the plan can be cancelled within 15 calendar days after purchasing it.
For EW- the plan can be cancelled within 15 calendar days after purchasing it.
